Why You Should Play Vegas Downtown Blackjack Gold

Specially designed to suit mobile devices, Vegas Downtown Blackjack Gold offers a neat twist on traditional blackjack with just a few minor player tweaks. The basics of the game remain the same as the classic format, but you can split three times to make four hands as you enjoy the thrill of a one-on-one battle against the dealer. The game is accompanied by a neat soundtrack and the visuals are a delight. Even if you’re new to blackjack, the on-screen rules and instructions make it very easy to follow.

How to Play

Once you open up the game, you will be invited to tap the virtual table to place your bet, but first make sure to choose the size of the chip you wish to wager from the selection on the left-hand side. Hit deal when you are ready, and you will receive two cards. The dealer will also be given two cards – one of them face-down, and you will then have the option to Hit, Stand, Double or Split (depending on the cards drawn). The settings can be found by swiping right, and the rules by swiping left. The rules are as follows:

  • This is a Hole card game
  • Dealer peeks on 10 value cards and Aces
  • Played with 4 regular decks
  • Dealer must stand on all 17
  • Double down on any two cards
  • Double down after split
  • Split 3 times to make 4 hands
  • Aces can only be split once
  • Only one card to split Aces
  • A split Ace and a 10 counts as 21 and not BJ
  • Unlike 10, value cards can be split

When one game is over, you can hit rebet if you wish to play again.
